What you can expect from the Pre-Season Performance program

Faster Speed and movement

Working on the basics of speed and improving running technique and focusing the fitness you build into getting as fast as possible in training and on the pitch.

A stronger more robust body

Building strength in the whole body ready to perform in training and matches. Pre-season isn’t about gimmicky and complicated exercises; it’s about improving the foundations of strength and fitness ready to perform through the rest of the season.

Longer Lasting Performance

A big part of pre-season is about improving your endurance after a break from the previous season. Building up cardiovascular and muscular endurance all based around how the game is played and being able to perform better for longer throughout a match and the season.

What is the Pre-season program?

The pre-season performance program is a 6 week program designed to build you up and develop your fitness as high as possible ready to dominate the season from the very first match. You’ll get a 6 week program that includes training sessions to improve your speed, strength, agility and endurance. Throughout the program the sessions will progress in intensity and difficulty to keep pushing you and you’re fitness further with each week. You’ll see your progress grow as those around you struggle to keep up making you stand out in training and prove to your team you’re ready to play from match one. Don’t get left behind and left on the bench. Take your pre-season seriously and get ahead of the competition now.

Specialised Program

The pre-season performance program is designed specifically to improve your performance on the pitch. All of the training is carefully selected to help you get the most out of training and improve your fitness for football. 

Support and Accountability

1 to 1 coaching is designed to give you the maximum amount of support and give you the best chance of success. Part of that support is knowing that I’ll be checking in and keeping you on track which for most people is the crucial difference to getting the work done and reaping the rewards.

Long-term programming

At this level of training everything is planned and designed for one thing, results. That means that when each block of training is finished the next block has already been outlined and ready to start. This means you’re always improving and always getting better.

About FootballFitnessbootcamp

Footballfitnessbootcamp is all about improving your football performance through fitness training commonly known as strength and conditioning.

It all started from the desire to improve my own football ability. I reflected on how I played football and what strengths I had that I could improve that would take me to a level above those I was playing with.

I decided that my fitness and speed were my biggest strengths so I looked into how I could improve it. I had a keen interest in sports and fitness and had a good idea about building strength and cardiovascular fitness. What I discovered when looking at speed and agility training blew my mind.

It turned out that not only could you improve your endurance and strength but there are specific types of training and exercise proven to help improve sprint speed, agility, power and everything else required by a footballer.

As I looked more and more into the different types of training I realised it wasn’t just as simple as doing plyometrics or sprints but that in the larger picture certain exercises are only worth doing once you had done others.

This was the start to my journey as a strength and conditioning coach specifically for football.

As a coach my goal is to help provide fitness training to aspiring football players looking to reach the next level and to give young players the information I never had.
